Can I Get A Heat Pump For Free With Green Homes UK Government Grants? 

There's only a few weeks to go until the new 2020 UK Government open up applications for the Green Homes Grant which covers the price of installation of Air Source Heat Pumps so it can be a 100% free upgrade to your home's central heating system should you be a homeowner on a low income.

For homeowners on lower incomes and in receipt of state benefits, the good news is that a £10,000 grant will be available from the UK Government Green Homes Grants. Households on low income can qualify for 100% of the cost of the Green Home improvements, up to the maximum amount of £10,000.

Free Heat Pumps For Low Income Households

This new scheme will give over 600,000 homeowners in England a grant capped at £10,000 to install home loft and wall insulation, ASHP air source heat pumps, draft proofing via improved double and triple glazing for doors and windows.

This awarded funding is eligible towards the installation of Mitsubishi Ecodan air source heat pumps when a House Wrapped grant application has been approved on your behalf. 

Tenants, Landlords and Property owners that do not claim benefits and are not classed as low income can benefit for up to £5,000 with two-thirds being funded by the Government. This means that you can invest up to £15,000 and only pay £5,000 with the £10,000 remining being covered by the UK Government Green Homes Grant.
