Festival Toilet Hire Somerset Portable Urinals and Disabled Access

We were back again for this fabulous weekend of music, fun, entertainment and camping last weekend. This is a firm favourite in our diary every year. Many of the team from Burnham Portable Toilet Hire attended this event and enjoyed the lush camping of Garslade Farm, located right in the heart of Somerset.

Festival Portable Toilet Hire - Godney Gathering 2019

The Godney Gathering has quickly established itself as one of the best single-day micro festivals in the UK, achieving outstanding reviews locally and nationally. 2020 will see them celebrate their 10th year anniversary and for the first time, it will be held over two days.

Event Portable Toilets, Urinals, and Disabled Access Toilets

We supplied lots and lots of units for the campers, which included our Event Portable Toilets, Urinals, and Disabled Access Toilets, we also provided regular services for the units to keep them in a clean and pleasant condition.

Lots of fellow campers commented on how lovely and clean they were and how nice they smelt. We also supplied some hand wash stations this year as a bit of a trial, these went down a storm as it enabled Gatherers a swift turn around in the queues.

2019 saw Godney land their 5th consecutive sell-out, weeks in advance of the festival date, having set a new Godney record and selling over 1500 tickets before the line up was even announced – firmly planting them as a festival not to be missed, regardless of line up.

Imagine camping 50 yards from the festival. That’s what you get at The Godney Gathering. Every year, Bridget & Michael Gooden welcome Gatherers to their organic family farm campsite.

To sum up the weekend would be hard, standing in a filled with so many people who were all together to just have a great time was the best bit for us. Bridget and Mike were truly fabulous hosts and made us all feel extremely welcome.

Somerset Festival Location

Designated an environmentally sensitive area on the Somerset Levels, campers are treated to a tranquil location with stunning views towards Glastonbury Tor. It’s ideal not just for our festival, but for walking, cycling and touring. There’s also a small coarse fishing river on the farm!

The campsite is level with shower and toilet facilities, a limited number of electrical hook-ups, with hard tracks throughout the upper fields. Whatever your accommodation type, Bridget & Mike will be happy to welcome you.

Once our duties were complete, we swapped our wellies, for flowers and glitter and made our way to the Festival. I have to say it was very well organised, with enormous amounts of entertainment to suit everybody. We thought the children’s area was very thoughtful, with lots of crafts and fun things to do. Lots of fine food and drink, cider flowing aplenty.

The line up was just fabulous, we enjoyed…...The Feeling, 3 Daft Monkeys, Cosmic Ninja, Dreadzone, The Bottom Line, Buster Shuffle, Black River Sinners, and many many more. With seven stages including a silent disco, (this was my favourite) there was always something going on for all to enjoy.

We can’t wait for 2020.
